PAPERWORK PREPARATION
MANDATORY VACCINES
New directives from the French Ministry of Health, relating to the placement of students in paramedical students
force the school to change its internal procedures.
In addition to vaccinations against diphtheria, tetanus and poliomyelitis (unique DTPolio vaccine), students must be vaccinated against tuberculosis. Regarding this disease, the student must have undergone a recent intradermal reaction, the result of which must be communicated to us.
In addition to this, the student must be vaccinated against HEPATITIS B.

The vaccination schedule is as follows:
- A first injection of the vaccine 4 months before the start of the internship;
- The second injection one month later;
- The third injection one month later;
- A control serology one month later.
That’s a total of a minimum of 4 months of preparation before the start of the internship.
Providing us with the result of this serology is mandatory. We draw the attention of candidates that without this result or if it is negative (i.e. less than 10 IU/l), the student will not be able to do an internship or study at the IFMK in Vichy.

- Students must provide the following documents:
- Appointment of your institution
- Cover letter in French
- Resume in French
- A photo ID
- Copy of both sides of your currently valid identity card
- Learning agreement
- Professional liability insurance (provided by IFMK and reimbursed upon arrival)
- Private liability insurance
- Death repatriation insurance
- Vaccination pathway
- European Health Card
- Copy of criminal record
- No mobility can take place without all the documents listed above.

The International Department will accompany you throughout the preparation phase of your mobility and provide you with all the necessary information.
