Visit of the documentation centre

Located within the IFMK of Vichy, the documentation center is a place for studying and sharing. It welcomes students and teachers every day from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. It has a multimedia and multidisciplinary documentary collection that covers various fields.

Access to the documentation centre, consultation and loan of documents is possible for IFMK students and teachers.
The classification plan of the documentation center is made according to the disciplines taught at the IFMK:

The primary tasks of the documentation centre are to collect, reference and classify documentary sources useful to students and trainers, to make information available and to assist in documentary research.


The main missions proposed by the documentation center of the IFMK of Vichy are:

  • On-site consultation of books and journals
  • Loan of educational materials
  • Accessing the Internet
  • Access databases that are part of the subscription
  • Assist with documentary and bibliographic research
  • Assist in the writing of bibliographic references
  • Provide scientific articles to trainers and students
  • Loan of small teaching materials and in particular anatomical parts



The documentary collection is composed of :

  • Près de 1000 titres d’ouvrages
  • Environ 20 titres de revues papier plus les revues électroniques accessibles via la Bibliothèque Universitaire de l’UCA
  • Les Traités de l’Encyclopédie Médico-Chirurgicale via la Bibliothèque Universitaire de l’UCA
  • Les mémoires (en version pdf) réalisés en vue de l’obtention du Diplôme d’Etat de masseur-kinésithérapeute depuis 2005


The IFMK Vichy documentation centre is open every day, from Monday to Friday, between 7am and 7.30pm. It offers:

A work and reading room allowing the consultation of documents and work on tables
5 booths dedicated to group work
3 multimedia computer stations
A Wi-Fi connection to connect smartphones, tablets and laptops to the IFMK network
